Commission for a new head board and foot board for my client’s old bed. The existing bed had been in the family for a long time and I made a new head board and foot board out of cherry to match my clients existing cherry bedroom furniture. I am especially pleased with beautiful rich matching grain of the American Cherry which will become a darker reddish brown over time. The bed was made from two very clean consecutive cherry boards. I will be making more pieces out of cherry soon…
